Rejetting a dirtbike, carbon emissions, and how "the powers that be" aren't that intelligent.

If anyone really, honestly cared about the environment or “climate change” we wouldn’t be living in a throw-away society. We are living in a greed-based world and don’t let them fool you by trying to push all of the buttons.

We have the capability to produce vehicles, machines, and tools that would be easy for a handy end user to repair/modify, that would last indefinitely, not be a smog machine, and be upgradeable. That would reduce our waste significantly, but it doesn’t necessarily make anyone wildly wealthy.

That would take a massive rethink on capitalism and consumerism, and the thought that constant expansion is the way the world should work. We ( the world) have finite resources. Infinite expansion isn't possible in the long run. Reduce, re-use, recycle needs to be the Mantra.

Line go up 2% per year.

Line always go up 2% per year.

Forever.

Well, except for the Great Depression, the .Com bubble, and the 2008 "recession". Probably some more I'm forgetting.

Your results may vary but I know for smaller two stroke stuff you can get adjustment tools.

If it has a catalyst in the exhaust be careful you don't get it too far one way or another and melt that down.

No catalyst, and no worries about getting at that mixture screw anymore. I've piped it and swiss-cheesed the air box.. re-jetted & installed an adjustable slide needle.. she's plenty responsive just off idle. Mixture is good.

Anything else I do to the thing is gonna require a bigger carb too so, Im in the clear until i wanna put a big cam in it or a BBK or something.

I've said it before, I'll say it again..

The world is massively over populated as far as conserving our natural resources.. or without needing to produce lots of various emissions and pollutants by recycling to save on said resources.

Not only that but.. with all the stress about "reducing your carbon footprint"... It really doesn't matter if I reduce my personal carbon footprint by riding an electric dirt bike or not consuming beef or putting solar panels all over my roof..

..as an individual can not reduce their carbon footprint enough to offset the creation of ANOTHER carbon footprint by having a child. We're trapped at this point.

Our current global population is the equivalent of stage 3 ¾ cancer in terms of the effect it's having on our planet.

And again.. I don't judge or otherwise look down on people with a kid.. or multiple kids.. it doesn't bother me at all. Kids are hilarious... BUT.. womenfolk squeezing out 15,000 additional carbon footprints every hour of every day all year long... certainly not helping anything.

The upcoming ai bubble. That one will be one for the history books.

If I was someone with a fat 401k that's about to or within a decade or so of retirement... I'd be absolutely terrified right now.

The AI hype train only has so much fuel, and when it runs out... It's the insiders in first class who are gonna be able to grab their bags and exit first.. leaving the 99% with next to nothing.

An example.... Claude VS Walmart.

Nearly every AI company has the same Grand canyon sized gap between valuation & annual revenue..

It's gonna get worse before it gets.. more worse.

Start moving your investments if a lot of it is tied up in tech.
