I've got to wait until next payday to reserve. Hopefully there's a cabin available by then! Not stopping me if there isn't, BTW.

I put in for Thursday and Friday for vacation. No one else asked for that week. So, I should be good.

I still need to make a reservation. I'll have to call and ask what their policy on RTTs is. I saw there was an RV spot right in the middle of the tent section. So, I'll get that if they require RTTs use an RV spot.

I mentioned some would be in RTT's. But failed to ask what kind of site they would eant you to use. Seems like a tent site should be fine.

I guess I need to add that question to my planning notes for future events.

Some places are funny about RTTs. I don't think they know how to handle them. I call them either Friday or Saturday and find out.

I talked with Rifrafters and they treat RTTs like tents. Slide ins like RVs. I need to call them back in a few minutes to make a reservation. I'll shoot for site #4 or #6 but I will update with what I finally get.

EDIT: They said site #7 and #2 are more level. So, I went with #7

I will update. But plan on booking a site Friday. Sorry I've been behind. Remodeling master bath and trying to get things wrapped up around here has been a whirlwind. I will sit down and see what I have spent this week and go from there but will for sure book a site by Friday.

Well I forgot about the planning for this and checking for updates. Unfortunately I've spent too much this month on gun stuff and memorial day sales didn't help, so will have to let the accounts recouperate before I can reserve anything.

If I'm searching right, it sounds like that area has highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s-50s during October? Weather like that I might actually be able to tent camp. Much warmer and I'm definitely getting a cabin

That is assuming that I'll be able to afford or free to go when the time comes. Way gas prices keep going up, that 17 hour round trip might not be an option. A few things have happened since this was initially proposed that may require the time. Hey, at least it's only a $15 cancellation fee as long as you do it a few weeks in advance.

Anyone else seeing a line on their website for making online registrations? It's mentioned in places on the site, but I can't find one.

You have to pick your site type first to get to the booking page. Once there you can change it though:

It can still get in the 70's during the day. But nights cool off nicely at that time of year. It makes it comfy around the campfire. We had awesome westher at Cass last year.

I did not see a way to make a reservation online. I needed to ask them about their policy on RRTs. So, I needed to call them anyway.
