My credo
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Plan for it as best you can.
Now I'm remembering why I put off replacing the front sway bar bushings when I replaced everything else. Finding bushings that fit a 34 mm sway bar is nonexistent when searching for ones that fit a 2011 Ford Ranger 4X4 XLT. The biggest offered is 29.5 mm. I confirmed the bar size by measuring the bar several times with a set of dial calipers.

So, perhaps ones from an Explorer or Sport Trac might fit since they are a heavier vehicle than a Ranger. Any idea on what years to look at that may have a sway bar this big?

try 2001.
I had a front bar from a 2001 Sport Track that was about 1-5/16" damn thing was waaaay to stiff for me.

I think they went to that larger bar around 05 at the same time that they went to the smaller lift blocks in the back and the different torsion keys in the front to lower the trucks a little in an attempt to get better gas mileage.

My 09 had a larger bar than the 01 that I have now has. The 01 rides better, but the 09 handled highway curves better.

08 was the different T-bar keys and the smaller blocks

I put a larger Explorer bar on my 00. It was from a 97 or 98 Explorer, mounted exactly the same as the Ranger bar and I bought new frame mount bushings for an Explorer. I went with poly bushings.
