My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
It lost 5qt of fluid in 24 miles. I’m thinking cooler lines or they didn’t change the seals on the pump. Any external accumulator that could cause it to lose fluid like that? I’m still on my way to it….. and have a tow truck on the way.

Many places to lose fluid. A careful inspection is in order. As you were driving down the road it may have blew fluid all over the place. You might have to clean it up and then put some fluid in it and start it without the truck moving to find the leak.

Because it was Sabbath I just had it towed home. I won’t be able to look at it until my next day off. I have a hard time believing that a reputable transmission shop that told me the seal need to be changed forgot to change the seals

***update*** more to the story

Apparently it was the second time this happened since he picked the truck up last Wednesday. The first time the transmission shop just added fluid. I do recall seeing a line of fluid from 1/2 a mile from home to about a mile from where the truck stopped.

I knew I should’ve changed the transmission myself but I didn’t want to be rolling around under the truck in the cold.
