And, I don't see that styling has improved any, at all.

If anything, "ugly" is "in" these days.

If you want almost 500hp power/1,000ft-lbs torque, you're going to need radiator/intercooler/transmission coolers like a Peterbilt.

I was on the GM Heritage site the other day: Late 80s S-10s had >GVWR/payload & power, than the mid 60s C10s.

It's because now a days they sell what they call a truck BUT it's really just a lifted car with half of a truck bed attached to it.

Why not cut the bulk and hideous styling trying to hide the Peterbilt cooling system and use an apparently much smaller and more efficient Freightliner setup?

Its fluff, it takes effort to make something that ugly. If they didn't want it that way it would be that way.

The competition is just as big and ugly (beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder)

No disagreement on they could put a little effort into improving efficiency/reducing size of the cooling systems.

I think I’ve seen that one before, but I still love it. Obviously put a lot more time in it than I did on mine. If I hit the big lottery, I’ll get one.

Coincidentally, I was driving the Missing Linc today at Harbor Freight and the Publix. In both places, someone stopped to say they liked it and asked me about it. Still amazes me it gets more attention than some of the pretty expensive exotics I used to drive.
