Truck "broken into" (hood access)

my vehicles do not lock or require keys to operate....

you need to know how shit works to operate them....but it dont require locks or keys.

all locks do is keep honest people honest.

everything in your life.....that applies to.

EVERYTHING. shit bags are gonna shit bag.

the world needs more dead offenders.

its not pointed....it is recognition of disgusting acts....

sorry...not sorry applies.
I wholeheartedly agree. Thieves with new holes in unusual places are the best, IMO.

when i first swapped the diesel into my ranger, the oil filter was accessible out by the winch.

new years eve....it was -20 degrees and some shitbag unscrewed the oil filter and tossed it.....luckily i was able to track the black lines into the snow and caught the oil dumping out before it was too late...

bastard. 20 below. that to me was attempted murder.

that was back in 08

I figured it out. They did swap my battery. It almost didn't start a couple times, getting progressively worse. That's new. So, new battery...

That is definitely odd... glad I have the stock hold downs installed (I think I've only bought like 1 Ford that still had it somehow, luckily they're sitting around junkyards all the time), most of the time I have allen head bolts locking them down which would really throw someone for a loop...

That’s a good idea, I should get some Allen or Torx heads for those

I have no idea. It's really strange. I contacted security where I work and lo and behold, the camera doesn't always work. 🙄

I did get a replacement battery for ~$140 after taxes from O'Reilly.

Just so you know they're 6mm thread and I don't remember the length but I think it's around 40 or 50mm, I conveniently had that on hand from a random bolt box from work years ago.

A high powered laser beam in the grill, aimed at the crotch of a would be thief should detour them.

Side note, 90s early '00s Rangers can be unlocked with the antenna or screwdriver by going through the door handle and prying up on a rod. I've done it on my own a few times when I locked my keys inside.
