I have a friend with a problem...

Ive owned a few 94's with RABS.

I was thinking 96 up for four wheel ABS
My 93 had ABS before it was gutted for racing. I worked at a dealer when ABS was introduced.

@19Walt93

No offense meant, but my 94 has RABS.

This from TRS History of Ford Ranger

1995 Ford Ranger –
A standard driver’s-side airbag was introduced, as was a brake/shift interlock for the automatic transmission. A 4-wheel antilock brake system became standard on all 4×4 Rangers, and on all with the 4.0-liter V6, but remained optional for other 2-wheel drive Rangers

Have not had time to get some pictures of the rear drums. Did you guys see the video I posted?

So yeah... I looked at the pedal travel in you video. Sounds like the engine was running?

If so... I'd like to see what it looks like with the engine off and vacuum assist pumped out so it's just full manual brakes.

If the pedal is still low with manual operation... I would have to say you might have air still and or rear brakes need adjusted. Drum brake adjustment is CRUCIAL to height of the pedal.

Also... even though the pedal is low... does it stop and hold the vehicle?

My 94 Ranger has RABS, and my '94 Explorer has 4 wheel ABS. I've owned several other 94 Ranger and B series trucks and none of them had 4 wheel ABS either but that's just a small sampling.
