My modification of a “Chicken California”, shredded chicken fried up on the flat top with onions and green peppers plus some Kinders seasonings (Woodfired Garlic and Cowboy Butter). Garlic butter toasted bun with provolone cheese and topped with Ranch dressing. Side of tater tots with more ranch.

I don't...

I just watched to many cooking shows when they say... you eat with your eyes first.

And honestly... ordering from a picture menu usually ends in major disappointment when your plate shows up at your table. It not only doesn't look as good but tastes worse.

Salmon... saffron rice and stewed yellow squash from my garden.

had a big lunch so dinner was a bowl of red raspberries and a bunch of round yellow corn chips smeared with peanut butter.

lunch was at our usual Tuesday diner, onion rings, cole slaw & a philly cheese steak.

I just picked up 12 packs of Kogel veinna hot dogs when I took my mom back to Michigan. So Flint style coneys and chili cheese tots.

My Ranger frustrated me this afternoon, so I went to a local joint for a Patty Melt and fries...
It was a therapy dinner.

I’ve come across that sort of thing a lot, seems like that’s the thing to do, get store bought potato salad and add stuff to it to make it somewhat acceptable. The store bought stuff out of the container tastes like paste to me. Both of my grandmas used to make home made potato salad, mom makes both types now and I’ve made them before but not often. Dad’s side was a German potato salad (served hot, uses vinegar) and mom’s side was a more common cold potato salad, just way better.
