Truckspotters

I might be being dense here... Fighter jet? We don't work on fighter jets.

As far as the tailgating with those, or any other aircraft, bad things happen when that happens. Uncontrolled roll overs, engines going out, flat spins. Not good.

That being said, the military does have minimum interval take offs (MITO). Like 9 seconds between aircraft in the cold war days. Now, I think it's 30 seconds. Wake turbulence from the aircraft ahead of the other being the limiting factor.

I thought you worked on military aircraft...

It was just announced....

The ones that I wonder about is the ones leaving well over a car length in between at a stop sign.

I've heard about the sightlines to the bottom of the tire, and maybe that's where its coming from. I will check how tall the driver is next time.
That sight-line thing can vary a lot by vehicle. Average sedan? Slammed to the ground? Lifted? It's all a judgement call.

There are all types and we specialize on a specific air frame, normally. For me, it's the KC-135 Stratotanker. So, I get my ability to work on old vehicles comes naturally. These were built between 1955 and 1964. We have a smattering of 1958, 1959, 1962, and 1963 models.

Anybody ever heard of an " LZ-1" by Sherrod?

Okay guys it looks like I once again said something that got everyone in an uproar.

From my understanding the law states that no matter how fast the person that hits your car is going, if your vehicle hits someone else it is you that is at fault for hitting the 3rd person.

The law says if you're driving it is your responsibility to be in control of your vehicle at all times. No matter what.

So if the person doing 100mph hits your vehicle in the rear end and pushing it forward.

If your vehicle hits someone else in any way you the driver are responsible.

The only exception to that law is if your vehicle was parked and there's no one in it.

And we meticulously keep threads strictly on topic, with laser focus, and always perfect spelling, perfect punctuation and perfect grammar; amen.

. . .

I hope that I'm not too late for the Whopper Contest.

It's a nice looking truck except for that it's red.
I've never liked red for some reason it makes me ANGRY.

You must be a Taurean then. Having a birthday soon? :)

Being an Aries myself, I can relate; I've never owned a red truck

@RobbieD I'm a cancer my birthday is July 14th.
I've owned a lot of vehicles in my life and some can be said to be red.
But they wasn't no bright blood red more like maroons and stuff like that.

Maroon is a good color (I do have one of those); it had enough good sense to not be red.

I agree. @RobbieD
It maybe considered red to some people but I don't believe that. Like you said and had enough sense not to be red.
I feel I got to say,
I sure do like cherries however and they are red
And I'm a Coca-Cola drinker as well.
