2017 F250 6.2.

I was gonna have the dealer look at it but since it just costed me 1100 bucks for a range sensor ill look into it myself...

What would cause the auto hubs not to lock? The 4wd works fine if i lock it in manually. The vacuum hoses look good. I havent dug real far in though.

I guess i dont understand how the auto hubs work and what exactly i should be looking for when i dig into it.

Any input is apperciated.

I don’t get it. Why do you guys buy these truck with all these luxury items and high tech electronics that are just going to break??
Get a simple truck with manual 4wd and locking hubs like my F250.

Stop buying these supercab short bed trucks and get a real truck with a regular cab and 8’ bed.

How does it feel to be on the other side of this conversation??????

Point taken.

But that dont fix my hub issue lol

Want to send me a set of drive flanges and you can have my manual hubs?

Then im still in the same boat lol

I could likely pull that boat anchor backwards all the way to the dealer with my 2.9L with a plug wires pulled.

Try jacking up 1 front wheel and put a vacuum pump on the hose. See if it will lock in when you apply vacuum. If it won’t hold vacuum, find and fix the leak. If it holds vacuum but won’t lock in, replace the hub. If it holds vacuum and locks it, look for a vacuum leak or a bad vacuum solenoid.
