What’s for dinner tonite!

What are we looking at?
Haluski

First time I’ve done it with red onion. I think I prefer yellow or white onion

Kielbasa, onions, carrots, cabbage, garlic and lots of Irish butter

That red onion threw me off. I thought it might be ham.

I kinda like red onion and I had a huge one handy so I figured why not. It added a sweetness to it that I’m not used to. Not a fan of that but some people might like it that way.

I did do ham and some other stuff with the camp leftovers meal I made with Lisa the last night we spent in LBL after the TRS thing. I dunno if I posted a pic of that meal but it was pretty tasty

I made sliders on some leftover Kings Hawaiian rolls. Also some oven roasted potato wedges tossed in onion soup mix before roasting.

I've heard you mention that... now i know what it looks like.

After Thanksgiving dinner at my daughters... she did ham.

I love turkey dinner... so I just made it tonight. I just did a turkey breat... but lots of leftovers for sandwiches. Also turkey noodle soup later this week. Then I'll been tired of turkey... just like every other year.

I’m never tired of turkey. I’ve argued for years that everyone needs to get on the same page, I’d like to feast from Thursday (Thanksgiving) through that Sunday. Then I want to feast on leftovers for a week starting with shredded turkey over stuffing smothered in gravy then moving to turkey sandwiches then to turkey bone gumbo…

My wife made a whole 20lb turkey for the two of us.
They used all the meat to make frozen dinners. We have 6 pot pies, lasagna with threaded turkey, and turkey enchiladas filling up the freezer.

I always like the cold turkey sandwich’s, but didn’t get any because we used all the leftovers.

I’m not sure what to call it. A modification of an Irish Spice Bag I guess. Might be better with fries and I need to spice it better, I went light on the seasoning and it showed. Entirely cooked on my flat top on my Ranger tailgate wearing a winter coat… fried potato slices, chicken chunks with a flour/corn starch coating, onions, green pepper, and some jalapeño all fried up…

Turkey noodle soup night...
