Hi everyone! I'm trying to get the correct gear pattern on my new set of gears for my Dana 44 rear end, and since it's a PITA, I would like your input about the patterns I'm getting.
Please see files attached.

Is this runnable or I really must add shims to the pinion?

I would be happy with pinion depth. But maybe shim the carrier a tiny bit to get more depth of engagement. How is your backlash?

Backlash is at .0044. Spec says 0.005 minimum. I'm already a little bit too tight in backlash.

I would try adding more to the pinion shim, just to see where it goes. Maybe .008" or so.

I put an 008 pinion shim and reset backlash to 007.
Is this acceptable?
