Depends on it's GVRW, anything 26,000lbs and under no CDL needed, or if it's privately owned and not used for commercial purposes, at least in the states.
Also at 26,000 GVRW or less it can even have air brakes and no CDL needed.

Even if its over 26k....
You can DD a pete 379 with "not for hire/private coach" on the side. Atleast to my understanding, with no CDL

My 389 (same thing basically as a 379) is about the same to manuever bobtail as my ext cab/long box OBS.

I had not seen this offering from Toyota until today. Trail Hunter package. To me it's clearly set up for overlanding... if you want to spend 66.5k for an Overlander. On 35's... ARB and Old Man Emu equipped. Real rock sliders too.
I wish Ford would do something similar instead of everything in a Raptor basket.

It was one of the Splash "concept" trucks. The "Sea Splash" and the "Sky Splash". Sea splash was beach, the concept included a surfboard IIRC. Sky Splash was more themed towards high adventure, and featured a hang glider.
The Sea Splash actually popped up for sale on here several years ago. Jim's got an article on the site about that whole fiasco.
