94 ranger super cab. I'm looking to replace the weather stripping. I found an option on rock auto that would cost $40 for both doors.

Also found a couple options on Amazon. Does anyone have any experience with any of the Amazon offerings for weather stripping?

Thanks!

more rubber in the "door/window" page

one trick I have taken to is to get the correct part number from LMC then look for that by part number from a REPUTABLE amazon dealer - if their store name seems like a chinese cat walked across the keyboard, skip.

You've done that with LMC?

No offense, but I find that hard to believe because LMC uses their own internal part numbers for the catalogs.

Now go some places like RockAuto, or even Ford parts site, that lists manufacturer part numbers and it works great.

I've used LMC window belts and door runs before on my F-100. Nothing wrong with what I received. Also bought door seals but never installed them due to being glued in and having metal work to do. All of that was precision rubber products IIRC.

I've heard claims that precision isn't the best, but those pieces have held up well enough since 2018/19. Steele Rubber is probably best if you can get it. Amazon no name might be ok for the felts (bottom of window) since it's easily replaced, but I don't know that I'd use it for the run channel or door seals.

If I were replacing any of mine I'd get precision rubber at minimum. Steele if I can find/afford it and plan to keep the vehicle.

I'm specifically looking at the door seals. The one's they are selling on Rock auto are Fairchild brand. Now that I'm looking a little closer at the options on Amazon, most of those are for door EDGE seals. I will probably try to stick with something from LMC if they have something for the 94.

@JoshT - I wish i could afford the Steele Rubber brand stuff. It's pretty steep though!

not on the ranger but on my son's 91 s10 i replaced all the window stuff with rockauto replacements and it all fit fine and sealed well. no more wind noise on the highway and doors close solidly instead of rattling

wind noise...... 😃

I can't speak to the 94 parts, but I used Fairchild parts on 88 and things have been awesome so far. Seals well enough that my ears pop when I close the door.
