What’s for dinner tonite!

The wife's was a near perfect medium rare. Mine was at medium... but... it was still really good. We don't get steaks often... I don't like to mess up the grill.

My personal steak salad. 10 ounces of cubed steak meat grilled up with Dusty Trail seasoning, plus grilled onions, green peppers and mushrooms. Fresh cut fries, lots of cheese, 4 hard boiled eggs over a regular salad mix. Forgot to put the minced garlic in with the grilled stuff unfortunately but it’s still good.

Comfort food for me... dirty rice is my personal go to. The venison part is a bonus.

I have no idea. That's what I'm sitting here trying to decide. What to eat, or do I skip since I did bad at lunch?

I couldn't handle the BBQ Viennas for lunch today so I went out to the Panda Express. With my blood sugar problems I really shouldn't be eating the rice, but it was good.

That dirty rice sounds great, my go to for that used to be Bojangles. Now I want Bojangles, but I probably shouldn't mess with that for a week or two.

I was cooking steel cut oatmeal this morning on very low heat. I forgot it until this evening. Very surprised it wasn't burnt to a crisp! Just a slight layer of brown on the bottom and liquid on top. Actually quite tasty... Lol.

Tonight is steak with garlic & cheese bread grilled over mesquite wood, and a pint of ale. It’s about to rain so it suddenly got real dark and the steak looks burnt, but rest assured it’s not!
