Next place I would check is the connector right there in the corner of the frame rail and crossmember. Unplug it and check your power there. Could also check the ground on the crossmember.

Theoretically grounds should be good if some lights work. Definitely a good call on checking at connectors

I agree. It doesn’t quite sound like a ground problem. But while you’re under there….

Sometimes with those dual filament bulbs, if the ground is messed up, they’ll ground through the other filament to some other point in the circuit that has a ground. That’s what causes some of the really weird stuff people ask about around here.

@snoranger , got any bright ideas on why my 95 F-150 has no tail light (parking/marker), but has brake and 4-ways in the back? Bulbs appear to be fine and a new bulb didn’t make a difference. I’m getting 0.14 volts in the socket and that’s it. I haven’t done a deep dive yet on it, but if you or anyone else has any bright ideas of where to look first, I’m all for it. Front lights all work fine so it’s something to do with the back…

Thanks, maybe I can swing over and borrow it if you’re ok with that and don’t need it for a bit. I have 3/4 to 1/2 adapters. I have a whole pile of adapters really, lol

No immediate plans for it. I really only have it for axle nuts anyway. My other torque wrenches do the majority of the work.

Check where your trailer wiring is tied in.

I typically unplug the tail lamp harness and test the supply side if it.

I worked on installing leather seats. I'm almost done. These came from a 2006 Subaru Forrester. It's the right look for this era. They look like they belong.

I like that, except it looks like the headrests push your head pretty far forward. Is that adjustable? What year Forrester did they come from? How difficult was the install?

Those headrests do look strange, except they work. they are adjustable too.

These were from a 2006. I've never seen them on another Forrester. The install took 2 1/2 days, but I'm very slow and don't know what I am doing. I cut the "feet" off the Ranger seats and a friend welded them on. The Subaru seat belt buckles (receivers) would not match Ford, so I removed them and used the old Ranger's.

Yup. Most of us have some slow projects going on. It's good to take your time and think it through. Sometimes the project evolves and gets better because you have time to think and re-think it. Enjoy the process.
