TRS Event Ford Ranger 40th Anniversary - Truck Nationals - Carlisle PA

I’ll have to look at the reservation. I believe I made it for two people but only one vehicle. I figure I can change it if need be. The important thing is the reservation has been made.

As far as I know, it just has to be there some time on Thursday. I'll know more when I get my package. My plan is to go directly to the fairgrounds and get TRS2 situated comfortably. Then head for the campground to set up there.
Okay. I was going to the campground first but I'm closer. Probably get there around 10:00-11:00 and set up, then I can meet you at the Fairgrounds and wash it. Keep in touch. Cell 724-624-1195.

I’ll definitely let you know how my travels progress that day.

on another note, if you pm me an address, I’ll send you a check for beer from Full Pint. I’m definitely interested in having the Steinmeister Lager, Clearly Cloudy and Dawn of the Living Dead Stout in the variety case.

Don't worry about it unless you want a bunch to take home. Their canned beer comes in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and I was going to bring a few difference ones to split around the campfire. I get the employee discount so for me most of them are $8 a 4-pack. The ones you mention are my favorites anyway. So far I have Steinmeister and White Lightning in my fridge.

The only thing that will mess me up is if my brother-in-law should pass away like right when I'm going to leave, he took a turn for the worse last week, if that happens I'll try to send the beer with sgtsandman.

What beer? He didn’t give me any beer.🤷‍♂️

Sooo, I got my paperwork for the Rd., Ranger today. They put me in the big rig lot even though I asked to be by the Ranger Station I called them and they said I could change it when I get there.

Here’s a question: I have never been there, and I don’t know what it looks like where you park the trucks on the non-judge show field. With the trailer mine is going to be about 30 feet long, so I may need nose to nose spaces. Is that going to be an issue? I plan to get there when it starts, but do I have to reserve a double space with you guys as well?

And even though it’s a little one, the concept that I might know how to back up a tractor trailer is pretty funny….

We’ll have to wait for one of the veterans to chime in. I haven’t ever been there either.

Is there time when cars have to be on the show field by? Can't leave until?

Seems like a lot of car shows will want everyone parked by a certain time and can't leave until the end of the day so you don't have people driving in and out while people are walking around.

I told him a couple months ago that I would spring for a mixed case of beer from his buddy's place, Full Pint Brewery. I will share. I probably won't drink more than 2 per evening. And only one Thursday night since we're going to Primanti's and I'll probably have one or two at the restaurant.

Oh, yeah. Got my package today.

Don’t worry about it… we’ll do whatever we have to do to fit you in our area.

If you mean you tow a trailer with your truck, I don't know, it might have to be parked where there is more room. Alternatively they have lots where you can park trailers, usually at extra cost. Where they have us you might be able to stretch across two spaces but I don't know for sure, maybe parking at one end of our section would be best.

At the Ford Nationals you can come and go any time. I assume this will be the same. Earlier is better because there will be a lot of people walking around.
