My 2023 2 door Big Bend 😎

My understanding of hub vs lug centric is;
V shaped hole and nut is lug centric.
Flat integral washer on nut is hub centric.

4300lbs for the 2 doors believe it or not.. and I was surprised at it's rated payload.. just shy of 1300lbs lol.

Yeah, our 2.3 4dr is close to 5k... about the same as my '16 5.0 crew cab longbed F-150.

Its pouring so this'll have to do for now but...

Whoooo-eeeee! 🤠

3.5" of lift overall, ride isn't bad for being e-rated tires. Rubs a bit.. rough country lied. They also sent two bags of rear hardware.. that cost me 100$ -__-

1400 miles on it so far, averaged 23.1 mpg mostly rural driving.. almost 4 better than the ranger. Well see what the bump in size&weight does after another 1400.

I still just can't get over it lol. Same motor, trans, gears, tires, more power, less aerodynamic... and nearly 20% more efficient 🤷‍♀️

I do have a request for someone with a leveled ranger though.. @Robertmangrum.rm or @JohnnyO .. how much clearance do you guys'es trucks have dead-nuts centered between the front axles?

Like width or height?

*Trans is a 10R60 like the Explorer rather than the 10R80 the Ranger/F-150 uses.

Here is the measurement to the top of the wheel arch after the 1.5” Truxxx level and with 265/70-17 tires if that’s what you mean. 38.5”
No change in mpg.

I'm sure he wants ground clearance.

Center of say engine cross member to ground.

A level kit won't make much difference on that other than what bigger tires get you, and that's half of the increase in O.D. So if you're new larger tires are, say 2" taller, that's 1" on either side from the hub center so it would increase the axle's ground clearance by 1".

I'll be under it tomorrow and can measure the axle then.

What Uncle Gump said.. I can't explain things today lol. Red squiggle.

Ok... same enough 😋

Yes thank you lol.

It might just be an optical illusion.. but I don't feel like the Bronco has quite as much clearance there as my old truck did 🤔 which is kind of wierd and a bit of a bummer.

OK I'll measure it in the morning. Right now I'm running 305/65r17s So mine be a little higher than JohnnyO. If I remember you see running 275/70r17s right? I've got a set of 305/70r17s in waiting. But I'm gonna running these till cord are showing haha. Well maybe not but I'm gonna were them down to the tread indicators before I change them out.

OK. So I measured in a couple places. At the lower control arms I'm little over 11 inches. At the cross member where the skid plate mounts I'm at 12 exactly but the front diff mount is only 11 1/2.

Another thought.

If you don't have advanced 4wd you have a CAD in the front axle. I kinda don't think it was available on a big bend.

If you have advanced 4wd you don't have a CAD, the front axle always turns... like a Ranger.

Ours is advanced with 4.46 gear and 32's and will get very close to 25mpg hwy.

The quest for more ground clearance is a worthy one, Broncos don't have a whole lot. Any way to gain clearance and wheel articulation at the same time would be really good as imo both areas need help.
