Putting these on the 2011 this evening:

Anyone have them? Love em? Hate em? Can't tell you have them?

I'll do some photos while setting them up.

I was wondering how they would work. Now I know...
They should do the trick.
I've read about home made ones using chain or cable.

I made my own (for the 93 4.0) with chain many years ago, seemed to do ok. Im curious to see how pj’s experience goes with his.

Great bounce eliminator - takes the hop out of the 1750 lb springs.

Truck seems to be a little better at red lights with coming off the clutch.

Theyre subtle, but I can tell I put them on.

Sounds like I should figure out making the Explorer traction bars work on my green Ranger. I had planned on it at some point, but maybe when I tear the leaf springs out and do them over again I’ll get the bars figured out. I think I need to either bend the bars or move the mounts welded on the axle. I can do either, just haven’t decided on what’s going to be the better move. Probably move the mount, as much as I’m not excited about cutting them off and welding them in a new spot.

If you have a pre 2009 axle, you can have my Ranger spring mounts. I had to use the FS bronco ones due to the 2009-2011 axle being the bigger Expo sized tube.

Everything is good on this axle other than I either have to use angle shims or move the spring mounts on the tube slightly, but I won’t know how much until I rebuild the spring packs again. I either have two bad mains, or some of the leafs I put in the pack are incompatible. I’m going to pull out the suspect leafs and substitute others that I have.

Dealing with all sorts of issues on this thing, lot of dumb stuff happened.

Perfect for pavement

I had those on the 03 that I had back in the day. They really cut down on spring wrap-up, it was pretty clear difference at launch. I have not yet gotten some for the 09, but I need to.
