Todays weather

Came into work to see several of the pipes in the hangar broke. We’ve been warning about the lack of heat being a problem. Now maybe since it will effect the mission, they might look into fixing it.

I managed to get most of the leaks shut off but CE had to get the last one since the shut off valve was so high up.
You work on airplanes. But altitude was a problem.

Sheesh!

Hey, just because he's so short he can sit on the curb and let his feet dangle doesn't mean he can't work on airplains.
He’s the one that complained about the valve being up high.

Why do you think they like be for working in fuel tanks? I fit!

It was 57° this morning. The high temperature was 60° after midnight. It dropped down to 50° this afternoon. Three inches of rain and some of those people who thought it would be nice to build a house along the creeks are probably regretting their decision. The front just passed about thirty minutes ago. The rain is slowly tapering off, but the wind went from 4-7 mph from the SW to 40-50 mph gusts from the north. It will be dry tomorrow, then rain the rest of the week.

Good day for a drive. Just did 12 miles without seeing more than 2 plow trucks, yeehaww.

Been raining with a mix of sleet or snow flakes for the past day or so. Right on the edge, but no ice.

It was snowing pretty good here yesterday afternoon and into the night, had about 2” here this morning, but it melted down a bit. Late this afternoon it snowed just hard enough and long enough for me to pack it in, then quit again. I’m getting close to where I can just bang everything back together for good on the Ranger and this white stuff is going to complicate things.

Stopped snowing finally, between this storm and last Friday's it's about knee deep now 😑

I feel that. I spent half the day out in the parking lot with the forklift, pouring rain with random snow mixed in.
About an hour after I was finally inside for good the sun came out, the rain stopped, and it warmed up.

We had a little under 1” of snow this morning, nows it’s 50°. This pic I took explains it better than I can:

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow... 6 more weeks of winter.

Historically... he's only right 40% of the time.

He's a rodent, not a meteorologist... so 40 percent is pretty good all things considered
