Boggin's Build Thread

boggin, why don't you just fix up the truck you have man? It's a bitchin little pickup and it sounds like it has a lot less issues than the BII you're looking at........

Or scrap the mazda and purchase the BII with the funds from that. Then you have both :D

meh dad says me and him are gonna fix it and use it for plowing the snow,
but that thread i made was only stuff to look for on the B2 that could be bad, Im pretty sure theres nothing wrong with it, and besides, my Ranger isnt capable of what i need it for, I need a 4x4, cause its really soupy, gooey, mucky, EXTREMELY heavy crapy mud stuff up here, deffinetly not 2wd suitable, I need the B2 with a locker or two and she would be great, I also LOVE snow offroading, which is usless for a 2wd based on the snow we have here, so the B2 is what i need, with the Body lift from the ranger and a few F-150 coils that I can get and a 3" block in the rear and some 33" rubber and D35 ttb up front and maybe some 4.56's and she will be as good as gold

oh yea and if rust really is a case, the front fenders can be replaced with the ones from the ranger, also i plan on completely blacking out the B2

Hey Boggin you ever get that BII that you were lookin at? I think we all wanna see it:icon_cheers:

^^ woa that was a long time ago

anyways the ranger is mine again :D:D
well me and my brother is trading my bronco for his ranger

1988 Ranger
2.9
5 speed
4x2{or 2x4 watever}
3" body lift
roll bars
push bar
lots of interior work
all i can think of at the moment

she has been sitting since last fall, yesterday i towed her up by the shed to try to get her to start, i got her to go but my starter is gone, so i crossed out the sylenoid and she fired up

now there is a problem
the clutch wont engage, so i cant put her in gear
my brother said u gotta pump it and pump it and pump it for a long time and make sure she is topped up on brake fluid, i did that for a long long time and still wont work, feels like there is barely any pressure on it..anybody have ideas?
thanks

Slave cylinder leaking? Find the fluid leak and replace that part.

thanks man but i couldnt seeany laeks anywhere

my brother said getting air..how can i solve this? thanks man

Find the problem. Remove the clutch hydraulics and check them out closely. Fluid should be coming out someplace.

ok thanks man and one of my buddies said there may be a clutch lever that goes to the trans, but he said it might be jus a hydraulic hose, which one is it? thansk
