It’s not exactly dinner… ok it’s actually breakfast.

A baked apple pancake.

Not dinner but for lunch I'm having a ham and swiss sandwich with some @Uncle Gump homemade bread and butter pickles. Damn they're good!!

Hello Fresh dinner. We get three a week. Toasted panko crusted baked chicken, rice, and kale with a mayo/wasabi dip. Only ever had kale once when I tried making kale soup and didn't like it.
Tonight the recipe had the kale in a frying pan with olive oil, grated ginger, and garlic. Was pretty good.
The wife picks it, orders it, and pays for it, so she can't complain. It's about the only way to get her to expand her food choices. She Irish and pretty much just wants red meat with a potato, no vegetables, and thinks ketchup is an exotic spice.

I like Spam but then again, I've dealt with military food all my adult life, so Spam is an upgrade. That, and my sense of smell has greatly diminished from all the years of working in fuel tanks. That might be why I can tolerate the military food so well...
