Todays weather

Was beautiful out yesterday here, was in a T-shirt and thinking shorts would have been a good idea.

This morning? It’s currently 19*, windy, and 6-8” of white crap

Took 20 minutes to go from straight rain to this. Couple inches

Weather is different every year, and very definitive. One year was super rainy, the other was a mild summer but cold winter, also vice versa a mild winter but a summer of relentless heat waves.

This year is all about the wind. Relentless daily wind. Every day is stupid windy all day, every day. I dont even notice the wind advisory on the weather news anymore, its always there. Its been a smokers nightmare lol.

Temperatures are random but mild, record highs and low for some days, but more from being unseasonal than extreme. Not much rain either. But windy wind wind every day all day. Its so annoying lol. I would rather have wind than rain. I now have decided my most disliked weather element is wind. I would rather have rain, heat, sleet or snow than high winds. Eff the wind.

If you think you've got wind (Santa Ana conditions?) you should try it here on the Oregon coast. High wind events are the norm here in Winter. Today's weather warning:

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON TO 5 AM PDT SUNDAY NEAR BEACHES AND HEADLANDS...

* WHAT...South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected near beaches and headlands.

* WHERE...North Oregon Coast and Central Oregon Coast.

* WHEN...From 2 PM PST this afternoon to 5 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be

difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Yuck. And this is more often than not?

60s yesterday and now 29F and a few inches of snow. Blizzardish with 50-60 mph winds predicted and then mid teens tonight. To whom do I write my formal complaint....

It's not all Winter long but we usually have at least 6-10 big wind events a year. It's actually really nice between the storms. If Global Warming is real, it will be perfect there! Maybe 1 snow a year, high rainfall, stays green all year, and it hardly ever gets over 90 deg. When people in the Southwest say "At least it's a dry heat" we say "At least it's a wet cold" My back yard looks like Jurassic Park.

I’m just hopping for a dryer summer then last year.

last year I rained at least once a week. It was always supper humid and muddy/ swampy.

A lush yard is my dream....I don't have irrigation, just some garden hoses....my backyard looks extinct.

I’m not really sure what the official snow total was this morning. With the high winds drifting the snow, it’s hard to tell. I’m thinking we got about 4”.

After cleaning off the clown car and shoveling, we got 6”.

Aaaaand the temp is supposed to go down to 11...

That's not wind. That's Arizona. Arizona sucks!

That's also not wind. In your case, Idaho sucks.

Didn't get any pics yesterday being I was at work by 4 am. But this was a Tennessee sunrise this morning. Friday I was outside in a t-shirt and short spraying mud off the SxSs. Then woke up to 4 ro 5 inches. This was after it melted some away yesterday
