I'd just like to say that TGD is of a rare breed. How many female RBV enthuiasts do you know? I find it hard to find women interested in vehicles...let alone RBV's. Maybe it's just me though...

Anyways, if a mustang is what you want, then i don't see the issue here. It's really up to you what you want to do with your truck. I'd say it'd be cheaper to try and figure out what's wrong with it than to replace it, but that's just my opinion. Hope it all works out for you.

Hate to lose a female RBV owner though...

Sounds like you need somebody who knows what they're doing to turn a wrench loose on it... my Ranger when it's not acting up (which is set up fairly similar to yours) gets 19-22mpg around town and 26-31 mpg highway, depending on how it's loaded and such. Hell, I get 16/17 towing a Bronco II behind it!

It's your truck though so it's really up to you what to do with it. Me? I'd keep it. But I'm not you and I couldn't live without a pickup (I DD'd my choptop for awhile recently and I really missed having another few feet of bed space quite often, as I've had my Ranger since I was 17).

My brother wears his when he's on his bike and same with 99% of other motorcyclists. Now the guys that walk around with the leather jackets just because they look "cool" are kind of retarded. But I've been thinking about getting one myself. Just not one of the homo ones.
