Dang coyotes getting into everything.

I like *some* noise. Espicially when i hit the skinny pedal. But i have been in vehicles that were downright ridiculious.

My motorcycles inflict less obnoxious wind noise on me then my ranger....it's quieter in there with the doors off

then there is the opposite side of things, the first time I saw a new(er) challenger I thought cool! and rolled down the window right before it went by going the opposite way from me. nothing. no noise at all. wth? is it electric? Id expect a retro muscle car to sound like a muscle car. My boss has a vintage 383 roadrunner & his wife has a newer hellcat. While the hellcat is louder than the newer generation challenger, the 383 certainly sounds like a muscle car should.

Some cars play exhaust noise over the radio to make you feel like you are going faster.

Probably was a V6. The hemis usually have a nice rumble.

Loud exhaust is not always a good idea....case in point the EB raptor i see around town sounds like a 2.9 with open headers (IE, like shit)

bah, loud exhaust noise is no big deal, it goes away as you drive.
case in point, about half way to Mackinaw my truck quiets right down so do all the other noises :icon_confused:

I like a good exhaust note as much as the next guy....but some of the V6's ive heard are.....blah. Athough i have heard some 300's sound mean.

But nothing beats a big block in the sound dept. I dont want something obnoxious, but when its got a good rumble its better then merle.

It is similar to the old days, only V6 rather than slant 6. Most of the slant 6 cars either no longer exist or have been swapped.

Not really sure how/why, we get more Hellcats in than anything else. :icon_confused:

Ill admit....never paid much attention to rotarys :ROFLMAO:

A great aircraft engine. They are most efficient when set to a constant RPM. They work in other applications but aren't the best choice. Especially when it comes to emissions and fuel economy.
