What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

pulled the trigger on a couple of fleabay items, a new black vynil floor ($145) and 50 sq ft of dynomat ($80) Might be driving it some this winter if it gets really bad out, not sure if it will help with the heat in the cab but it will at least look better and might quiet down some of the road/exhaust noise.

The sound deadener will make a world of difference for sound. It also helps with heat. I would recommend some aluminized plastic thermal barier got mine from home depot,, I installed it on the back wall,, and the fire wall above the pedals. I feel this has also made a great deal of difference, in heat retention.

What did you do to your Ranger today? I took the 8.8 apart and found this mess.

Used mine to bring home a '65 chevy c10 that's the textbook definition of fabricobbled together.

So it's a '65 c10 cab, fenders, and hood on a '93 2wd suburban frame that's been shortened 20". Firewall dash and floor are the suburbans, TBI 350 and an nv3500 5 speed trans.

My buddy traded a 4 wheeler for the truck. I'm going to ultimately end up with the truck for "free" after I help him remove the motor/trans and put them in his 84 s10.

Already aquired a free th350 from another buddy to put in it, and once I get a new motor in my square body I'll probably dump the 4.3 out of that into this.

Projects! Yay!

I really get carried away sometimes -__- at least this one's free for now.

Time for a 9" it looks like
Even a stock big bearing 9" isn't much above an explorer 8.8 (assuming, if it's a Ranger 8.8, no wonder... I don't remember...)

The original discussion has disappeared. IDK.

We need some positive news. What did you do to your Ranger taday?
From a crank but NO start, repaired bad wiring a week ago, then had a miss, ( carparts.com) changed TFI module PERFECT, then took my buffing kit n buffed the hood ( Meguiars Ultimate compound is AWSM) , did spot painting last June wen i got her back up after sitting 5 years.. Man i LOVE my Bronco II! Relaxin now w/COFFEE.. :) GO NAVY! :)

I've been collecting parts in the mail: coolant temp sensor, engine temp sensor, oil pressure switch, borla headers, 02 sensors, and i'm waiting on headliner fabric, glue, and a double camera for the front and rear. Let's rock.
love ta see headliner wen u done, thaz a job! :)

Can I get that companies to send the application to me or will you send them that hamster wheel bearing?

Took a couple of pictures of my ole friend in the mountains. Have looked for a good pair of 93 to 94 xlt door panels for 3 years..found a pair in excellent condition. Bought them for 40.00.

I hate you. I have never found the elusive manual door panels with storage pockets in 5 years of searching.

I had them on my 1990.

1990 is different panels. The 93?-11 panels with manual locks and windows rarely had a storage pouch. Usually only doors with power windows got the little pocket.

Went to my mountains today as I took a day to myself. There is a 7 mile single lane road that goes thru the foothills. I have driven it many times in the past..drove that today.
Looks like a great drive.
I'd love to do that at speed if I knew the road was blocked to traffic!
