100% gas vs. Gas with ethanol

Gasoline is made from corn.

That's why the Pinto was nick named the Pop Corn

It's all in the aging process.

Ethanol is made from corn aged 50 hours or so...
Gasoline is made from corn aged 50 million years or so...

Sorry but you two gotta be related somehow...

Nothing wrong with a Pinto.... LOL

Just did the fast math on my V8... Sunday went for a (longer drive) left home and topped up the truck with 94oct, @ 1.97 a Liter, or roughly 9.00 a Canadian gallon. drove to the next town east, roughly 80 Kms, or 50 miles of screwing around in back roads and stuff. had lunch and a beer, and returned home....

Went back to the same gas bar and filled the truck up with 94 @ 1.97 a Liter. stopped at 20 liters.

so... lunch 4 Kilometers per liter, 40 in beer, 35 in grub.

I sure hope beer prices go down :)

I do that myself and run them dry when it comes time for storage over the winter or summer, which ever applies.
I've tried it both ways and either one works as long as the treated gas is in the carb or in the residue.
