More Bronco hear say.

Why is it only available on the 2 most expensive versions... The best part of the Sasquatch package is that you can get it on everything from the base to the first edition.

And that is a major weakness, they also seem reluctant to address it.

You can get that jeep big tire package with a manual trans and 4.88 rear.

Can't get the Sasquatch with the manual, according to the B+P. Sasquatch come with 4.70 rear, not that it makes a big difference.

But like sno said, you can only get it on the super expensive four door jobber.

2.3 with the manual is late availability on the squatch. Could be 22 could be 27, nobody knows.

they dont need to address it because people buy them like crazy, regardless of the price tag. we'll see if that changes with the bronco, but at the upper end of that spectrum of jeeps you have people buying them and immediately swapping tons and 40s on them. the idea that you can have bolt in axles and a v8 jeep blows my mind these days.

that being said, I wouldn't build a four door again, but that's just hardcore wheeling

A lot of people are loving the idea of basesquatch in Broncoland.

Ford also has each trim aimed at a different market so you can tailer your squatch to what else you want instead of one cookie cutter "top level" trim.

Hello,

We're happy to report that Broncos are officially rolling off the production line.
Here. We. Go.
But the ongoing challenges with our hardtop roof supplier continue to impact our plans. We now have to produce more soft tops than planned and we won't be able to solely produce customer orders, as hoped. This also means a longer wait for those who ordered a molded in color hardtop.
Additionally, for the 2022 model, hardtop roof timing has taken another hit: our black, contrasting white, body color painted modular, and dual top roofs will now arrive in the 2023 model year. Until then, we can offer the carbonized gray molded in color hardtop as the only hardtop option for 2 and 4-door Broncos.
Like you, we're frustrated by these delays.
So, here's what we're going to do:
  • FordPass Rewards Extension thru 2022 model year - In March we announced a 200,000 FordPass Rewards Points offer ($1,000 value). You can explore how to use these points to personalize your Bronco including several roof accessory choices through Ford Accessories. Your dealer will have more information on the options and can also explain how to redeem the points at time of delivery.
  • Price Protection Extension thru 2023 model year - We'll continue to offer price protection to all Bronco order and reservation holders (as of March 19, 2021) to ensure you will not see an increase in MSRP if you receive an equivalent 2023 model year Bronco.
  • Free Hardtop Prep Kit - Today we're announcing that all 4-door soft tops, beginning with September production, will include a hardtop prep kit at no additional cost. The prep kit enables you to order a soft top now and purchase a hardtop later. We anticipate that hardtop roofs will be available for purchase in the 2023 calendar year. If you're interested contact your dealer before July 16, 2021.
If you have questions about product updates or offers please reach out to your Ford Dealer directly or our Bronco Support Team at 800-334-4375. They're ready to help.
Rest assured that no matter what you decide, we're working around the clock to get you and your Bronco out into the wild.
Sincerely,
The Entire Bronco Team

Longer wait for MIC tops, nice!

Ford has plans to make the sasquatch run with a manual last I knew. I know it was said because of customer outcry they were sending it back to engineering for necessary changes to make it possible. You can still get a Badlands with manual... front and rear lockers on 33 inch tires.

So apparently a Ford Dealership in Pa got some info on the new Bronco. It will be available with 3 engine options 3.0, 3.5, and 5.0. Starting base model will be msrp 45k. Now supposedly they have brochures in a box already and the trucks will be available closer to the end of year.

I just looked at the first post in this thread...

I know you were just posting the rumor you were given... but none of those three engines made the line up. Starting price for a base model is $28,500.... and the first few Bronco's have just started to be delivered.

That fella sure got it all wrong...

I just built a base Bronco 2.3L 10 speed auto w/sasqautch... Roof rack and upfitter switches. I'm itching to just put the deposit on it to reserve it before the prices increases. I'm wondering if I should ask the wife first or just beg for forgiveness when it comes in?

I just can’t imagine putting a downpayment on something I won’t receive for another 2 years. How am I supposed to know what my finances will be like in 2 years? Safest assumption is that I’ll be broke. Don’t order the thing.

big sad

What did it price out at?

$35,885 MSRP

I did find a deal at a dealer that is still offering 2k under invoice until the end of July... so probably around 3K off MSRP

According to my notes Ford has 125,000 preorders so far.

I'd buy one if I could get it in the low 30's with the Sasquatch. I'll probably hold out a year or two for a certified pre-owned.

I think that could be a gamble... that's why I was considering just putting in a reservation. I think things will change when production shortages become more predictable... but the used vehicle market is just out of control right. people are getting more today then when they bought stuff brand new 2 to 4 years ago. Aguy on here sold his 19 Ranger for 7k more then he paid for it.

The reservation is fully refundable whopping $100....

Some dealers add more, refundable and otherwise.

There are enough out there that don't there is no real reason to deal with those that do.
