What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Test fitting... some minor issues with the gap between the bottom of the console and the floor since aparently carpeting is much thicker than my rubber floor so I gotta find a way to fill that with foam or weather stripping....

Those holders look awfully small for soup cans. Just saying...

Don't worry the console storage compartment is really deep when you take the dumb cd tray out. I can get at least 4 or 5 cans in there. :icon_thumby:

Plus It has a built in tissue box holder for cleaning soup spills!

@Dirtman

Whew, thanks, I was worried!

Where are you supposed to put your Shania Twain CDs?

Again not on the Ranger, although I pulled the two empty gas cans and one full one out of the passenger seat last night on the '90... but I just ordered a bunch of parts for the ol F350, got the axle seals, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, spring kit ordered up for the hefty sum of $165, got new rear sway bar links since the lift ones are unnecessary, and ordered a new turbo since mine is completely shot... so hopefully get all that installed in the next couple weeks.

Remember that terrible 2000 ranger I worked on, guy said keep it, then I fixed it and gave it back to him cause I felt bad?

Yea so I own that now, motor blew again....

It's now my 302 project.

At some point after a few motors it is best just to v8 swap it. Now you just need a dependable 302 to stuff in there because if the 302 blows up it just may be C4/det-cord time to put the truck out of its own misery.

Already have a 302 that's been in my shed for decades.... I'll do a sniper system not a factory efi.
Ok.... Do it the hard way.

I know Holley has a nice throttle body injection system that is an easy DIY EFI addition. Once installed it collects data and helps tune itself. Obviously you can tune it to your needs manually but helps you along the way.
