I’m moving pretty slow, but I’m going to have a rust free straight 87 short bed short cab with doors later this summer. I’m taking the bed, & engine & trans are gone, & I’ll probably grab a few other parts. I’ll rig up a tow bar and make sure the tires are round and black if you rust belt guys want it. All you’ve got to do is come get it...
Watched my brother change the fluid in the front diff on the red one. Then hosed the pollen off the blue one. Productive weekend indeed.
Scrubbed the lovebugs off the windshield. The season had officially started.

Yep, SpringTime driving anywhere around the GulfCoastSouth,
need 2 extra gallons of WindShieldFluid + Windex + ScrubBrush in the vehicle & WaterHose handy at home,
just to get a few miles down the road.
Nasty LoveBugs are a true Biblical Plague !!!

Installed the new air intake tube and gave it a good run from NY to MA. Other than the constant 3rd-4th-3rd shifting caused by the 3.45 gears it carved the mountain road well. It really was nice to not hear the rattling of the shifter knob.
The beer fetcher got me back and forth to the orthopedic doc and now the truck will have a vacation because my right shoulder is going to be operated on, finally after 20+ years of the issue, next week so because it, the truck, is a standard I will not be allowed to drive it for a couple weeks, as if I really drive all that far anyways with my 5k miles I put on it a year.
I think I am in more of a relationship with my truck than the GF because I spend an obscene amount of money on a truck that sits more than its driven where as the GF gets the scraps left over from the expenditure...
