@Bruisedfruit

I love the manual wind nylon winch!

Afterthought edit: Are you concerned that roof rack will hurt your aerodynamics and mikeage?

Nah, the drag created by the roof rack are negligible. Especially considering the bumper, headlights, and lack of a grille.

Cleaned up the e-fan wiring. Since I'm down to a single speed fan and no A/C, I didn't need so many relays. Current functionality = single speed, controlled by switch in lower radiator hose + fan running indicator LED + cutoff switch on dash for deep water crossings.

busy day, took off ranger winter wheels and put my m/t classic 2 alloys on, also changed oil in hhr & escape, swapped winter wheels off escape, painted the “new” back hatch for the escape. Hadnt put the hhr snow tires up yet so did that too. Next the wheel horse needs points and tomorrow I may try to swap out the escape back hatch. Im about spent for today.

Red one got used to move stuff around the yard today before it rains again and the ground is too soft.

drove it around a bit. Need to address a few maintenence items on it soon...

tightened shifter stick, again, like 17th time already. time for a new plan i guess. i have a hurst shifter stick on a stock t5 shifter, holes are larger than bolts, i improvised with some random door hinge bushings and locktite. no good. screws still loosened. sloppy stick=crappy shifts

I ran 1/4” bolts all the way through mine with split lock washers, IIRC

Floyd took me to get my free Krispy Kreme donut and coffee with friends.

of course....

Brake lights quit. They have been a bit iffy.

Took the switch off the brake rod, (the one activated by pressing brake pedal). Cleaned it good with crc put it back on and presto I have brake lights.

Wonderful position you have to get into to do that job. Half way on your back with your feet out the door, nothing for support your body.

My favorite working under the dash, just pulled whole pedal assembly out 3 times situating the clutch travel for the t5, probably going to have to do it one more time.

Nothing today but, tomorrow it's getting Katzkin Leather interior. Shop called Friday. Can't wait:yahoo: Get rid of that awful black burlap and grey. This is my 7th Ranger and by far the worst seat material.
