First NEW truck, hell yeah.

56039

Tires came in today! 255/75/17 (32") Kenda Klever M/T's. Really would have liked to go to a 33".. but I'd like to retain some fuel economy AND the price was right on these at 513$ shipped to my door. They have either a 40 or 50k mileage warranty too, pretty decent for a mud terrain.. even if they are on the less aggressive end of the m/t spectrum.

Some good looking tires, wow only $500 even better. Too bad they don't make anything like that to fit my Bronco 2. Curious how they do for you. I usually never make it to the mileage on any tire usually end up with a non-repairable damaged tire before the end of the mileage warranty so I always end up having to buy new tires. I have the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires on my Bronco 2 right now and they've done great so far both on and off the highway, and they've handled the 10" of snow we had recently really well too.

There's just something about a fresh set of tires.... now you have two sets.

Let us know how they fit.

That’s an awesome deal on tires. Have been looking for some MT recently too.

Well, they are Kendas. Not that I have much to complain about. The original tires on my trailer and the current ones are Chinese tires and they have held up fine.

Tires are often round...

Kenda makes killer atv tires.. not quite apples to apples I know... but I saw the mileage warranty and had no issue giving them a shot.

Probably gonna throw the stock tires up for a quick sale and start buying skidplates.

Next Friday is the day! Leveling kit, new tires go on, and the trucks first oil change. Should have right around 1k miles on it by then.

The truck has been awesome. No real complaints from me.. Other than the window controls are a bit too far back on the doors arm rest.

Average mpg is 20.5, mostly rural driving.

How are you getting along with the 10 speed? I still can't get use to having that many gears...

If I recall it has the ability to skip gears so it doesn't shift in sequence necessarily so you probably only use about 1/2 the gears 100% of the time LOL. So in reality its more like a 5 speed transmission in many driving situations I think. Someone with some better knowledge I hope can enlighten us on whether that's true or not, but just what I've been told.

Yeah I get you, its really odd. I like it though.. I think. It certainly shifts quicker than most autos ive had the (dis)pleasure of driving, the close ratios are nice.. but its definitely gonna take some getting used to.

I was on a flat stretch of road today doing 40-45 mph, glanced at the tach and it was just a whisker over 1000 rpm 🤷‍♀️ going along just fine. Thats diesel stuff.

It definitely skips gears, depending when it thinks it needs to. Like its some sentient being or some shit..

Exactly... I can get in any other vehicle with an automatic and know exactly when it's going shift. I haven't got a freaking clue what the 10 speed is going to do. Up? Down? Skip 3 gears? Who knows! It does shift extremely fast though so at least there is no lag while its randomly changing gears for no apparent reason...

Does it tell you what gear you are in?
