My wife sent me this pic of a soft top 2 door today...

If I wind up getting one, I may need to get a soft top... I kinda like it.

Something about the fast back soft top... I'm just not a fan. I know folks are loving it... to me it just screams Jeep.

I think I would be content never taking the top or doors off though.

Dad was in the hospital awhile ago for kicking the hitch on his truck with his shin.

He got a real bad infection and couldn't walk for awhile.

It wasn't a receiver, it was a spring loaded farm hitch.

Both my trucks have receivers in them right now, in Iowa it would be easier to ticket trucks that don't have them lol.

Well ...I have a suspicion...that is because...

Look around at all of the retards wearing diapers on their face pretending it's doing something.

I have been fined several times for not taking my trailer hitch out .. one of my bumpers had out-rigger brackets for gin poles and they needed to be hi-vis according to the officer that day. Another ticket ... No law....just a pick apart observation.

So I spray painted my trailer hitch, marker pink like the gin pole brackets.. .still got a ticket.


Fuk the government. Fuk pennsylvania, new jersey and maryland.



Then.... I bust my knee.. and think maybe they are on to something.

But I can't help myself.

I find that when the police keep giving you tickets for petty things no one cares about, it's usually because you're just a d**k...

Just an idle observation, not making any accusations.

I take the hitch mount off because it hurts like HELL when I bust my shin on it. Did that once, and the sumbitch stays behind the seat now. But you have to pay attention walking around in the grocery store parking lot around here, why people leave them in is beyond me. It clearly isn't illegal where I live. What the hell do the people writing laws do with all their spare time? Think of stupid crap to put on the books?

Next thing, they'll outlaws the nut sack hanging under the rear bumper as being offensive to people who cut theirs off....

I found that if you’re truck looks like a you need to put a block of wood behind the seat to hold the door jam in place, cops look for a reason to give you a ticket.

And C:
I leave my 18” drawbar in my receiver all the time. I hope people walk into it... I’m not a nice person.

Bobby's truck doesn't really look like what you think it does from the pictures. This was two years ago. On the outside especially not very far away it doesn't look bad at all. Looked the same at Southington a year ago. It isnt your stereotypical rust bomb.

Mine got taken off because walking into it taking the trash out after dark caused MANY BAD WORDS to be said. Besides, I use my game hoist much more often than I tow, so leaving the receiver empty is a convenience.

Truck nutz.... serve the useful purpose of identifying certain mental traits of the individual driving the truck. So there ya go........ Freud would be proud of how we can self-diagnose with our trucks

I used to tractor pull with a guy that had a built to the hilt JD G. He actually owned the pulling sled too.The thing was awesome. He had a yellow pair hanging under the rear axle, it just kinda fit. Only time to me they were not tacky.

Welcome to most of my high school driving career. The rear slider was a lifesaver.

Everybody goes nuts over the MGV seats, I am starting to think they may not be old enough to have encountered vinyl before. It was not a selling point on the BD for me.

I always keep a hitch in the receiver, the escape has a bar like those rear-step things you can buy (but I made mine) In winter the ranger carries a pintle hook, it’s perfect for a chain / strap and if I were to get hit in the butt would cause maximum damage to whoever hit me. In the summer I just have a normal drawbar with a 2” ball.
