More Bronco hear say.

They do make a diesel F-150...

Well......to be clear...I am on record for insisting that crew of designers be thrown carefully and lovingly from an overpass....

They can have that turd.

Be nice to find someone trading in a base model...

A couple tweaks and you would be all set. I like the look actually.

That looks pretty good to me...I don't care to have all the bells and whistles, just something that functions LOL. That would do just fine for what I'd need really. Don't need anything fancy.

I hope it only has 1 fan belt LOL, my Bronco 2 and Ranger of course have 3 belts, and my Bronco 2 decided the other day that the alternator belt is optional and spit it out....waiting on new belts. LOL. So please tell me after 30+ years they've decided 3+ fan belts is not a thing now HAHA!!!!

I do wonder about that rear tire carrier, the one on my Bronco 2 is very annoying on rough roads, sometimes sounds like the whole rear hatch is going to destroy itself with that thing bouncing around back there.

A 4.0 swap for that issue alone is worth it...lolzz.

The post 17 coyote is well worth it. Excellent engines. The 10 speed is ok but the 6 speed is perfect for these.

You can turnkey them with ok miles for 6500... So...drive shafts and hack in the radiator..... probably pull it off in a week or 10 days. But you would want an explorer axle for sure.

Little bob is pushing for one in the b2....he don't want a 2.0 or 2.3 ecoboost like I have planned. So.

5.3 gm or coyote from a 150 would be next on the list.

But I like the ecoboost 4 whizzer...alot.

Would the Coyote 5L fit in a Ranger or Bronco 2? I bet it would be a PITA though trying to get stuff in a 30 year old truck to work with a 21st century engine LOL. I'm sure it could be done but I'm far from rich LOL.

The new Bronco maybe it would fit? It looks more like the new Bronco is closer to the size of the original Broncos from the 60's and 70's maybe which I thought had a 289 or 302 option back then, or the 300 I6 if I recall. Course back then it wasn't such an issue because nothing was electronic like stuff today, so swaps were pretty easy back then.

I like the looks of the new Bronco, just not what they stuck under the hood LOL. I want a Bronco with a V8, or an I6 would be great too LOL. Are we going to see a diesel or hybrid Bronco in the near future? I'm curious how far they're going to go with these, a diesel wouldn't surprise me at all and neither would a hybrid since they did the hybrid F-150, and there's a diesel F-150 too...surprised they haven't done something like that with the Ranger though since GM has a diesel option for the Colorado/Canyon pickups.

It looks like there's 2 different hard tops for the Bronco...one looks like its a 1 piece, the other looks more like the Jeep Wrangler 3 or 4 piece top. I'd think the top with multiple pieces would be the way to go, even though its more expensive, it would probably allow 1 person to remove it completely as opposed to the 1 piece if that's what it really is. I know it was a pain to get the top off the 80's Broncos with 1 person, so from experience having a modular top would be a must LOL.

They can fit fine. Just not an 8 hour job like a 302 windsor.

When I say turn-key, I mean a complete used setup on a crate that runs....radiator and all...fire it up and let it eat.

6500 to 8500 depending on miles. That's fair pricing for 400 hp....and a bad ass transmission....I am not a big fan of the t case situation....but it is what it is. The gm seems better in that area....manual t cases are still common.

You just take the working unit and fit it in. So the wiring and tuning/pats delete is done.

There's several ways to deal with steering... depending on chassis. The engine in my ranger is larger where it matters .. exhaust is not bad.

The 3.5 is much harder otoh. And even the 2.3 in many ways depending on chassis and whether or not you want ac...and cruise control.

There are two hardtops, MIC (molded in color dark gray plastic) and Modular (painted shadow black)

Both come out in sections with basically a big peice above each seat and a cap in the back. Modular is different slightly with more peices in the back cap. You can remove a big sunroof "machine gunner" section in the middle and the windows come out.

We ordered the MIC.

A: I am cheap and it is the cheaper option
B: It is removable and I can be a klutz. I can't scratch paint if it isn't painted
C. Not crazy about glossy roofs, even on Jeeps they just look weird.

They worked their asses off on the rails and roof.

My wife sent me this pic of a soft top 2 door today...

If I wind up getting one, I may need to get a soft top... I kinda like it.

For putting up with delays we get credits to put towards accessories, we might try a mesh top.

Whats with the hack spray paint job? :icon_confused:

Also, where's the NJ version front bumper?

Well ...I have a suspicion...that is because...

Look around at all of the retards wearing diapers on their face pretending it's doing something.

I have been fined several times for not taking my trailer hitch out .. one of my bumpers had out-rigger brackets for gin poles and they needed to be hi-vis according to the officer that day. Another ticket ... No law....just a pick apart observation.

So I spray painted my trailer hitch, marker pink like the gin pole brackets.. .still got a ticket.

Fuk the government. Fuk pennsylvania, new jersey and maryland.

Then.... I bust my knee.. and think maybe they are on to something.

But I can't help myself.
