So in theory you could make some OBX or Torque Monster explorer headers and it wouldn't be Intellectual property theft because you would make them after we pay for the overly inflated price of tubing and flanges...... you know what I mean Vern?

Patent/copyright on tubing is almost impossible. Been there done that. That exhaust for the mercelago I made is pretty much identical to any other company making the same thing. I made mine from a jig off a factory muffler like anyone else, no copyright infringement. I could make and sell headers identical to anyone else, as long as I can prove I built them there is no problem. But I won't... cause it ain't worth my time anymore.

Exhaust work sucks. Even that lambo system sold for 1,400 but time/parts in it wasn't worth it. I don't own a mandrel, I had to buy all those bends and cut them. I have a huth bender to do flares, expansion, etc. It will do ranger quality bends with a ridge in the pipe. Million dollar car people demand mandrel bends. Ranger people cant afford my time...
