Ford rolling out new Bronco on OJ Simpsons birthday.

40 years ago every other TV commercial after 10pm said "please don't watch tv in the dark"... 40 years ago was very wrong.

that was coupled with the original version of what would become social distancing,,,,kids stay 10 feet from the TV or you'll need glasses

Well it looks like they changed it. Pushed back to July 13th. My Birthday! Guess that means I gotta get a Bronco now. Wander if Jim could convince them to give me one for my B-day?

I am interested to see what comes out and what they do with it down the road, but I'm pretty happy sticking with the trucks I've got.

I was watching OLD snl while ago and had the same thought.

So many jokes and stuff that are regular today would be super taboo back then, and a ton of jokes from back then are totally taboo/unacceptable nowadays.

I was also watching an older episode of top gear recently and Clarkson was making jokes about killing the prime minister. That would probably get you arrested here.. the free'est nation in the world.. but apparently it's no big deal in a part of the world where you don't even have a right to self defense.

No, I don't think that joking about killing the Prime Minister would get you arrested in the USA. You don't HAVE a Prime Minister. How can you be arrested for joking about killing somebody that doesn't exist?

Clearly you haven't read my signature, yet. It's right here, at the bottom of this post, for your convenience. And the important message (warning label?) is in large, bold, red print.

Too bad they changed the date. They could have had the signature or launch color be white, for old times sake.

Ok guys, I know you were all nervous. But I have recently discovered that against all odds, O.J. Simpson is NOT a cat. So in these times of uncertainty at least we can put our minds at ease over this concern.

Does this mean the TRS Ranger is being replaced with a new Bronco? Jim? Any thoughts?

It looks like you answered the question everybody was afraid to ask. 👍🏻👍🏿👍👍🏾👍🏼👍🏽

No Bronco for me. I won't even see its launch. I saw TFL was complaining online because they were uninvited to the launch. Not quite sure what that was all about.

People are crazy wanting to be the first person to show new pictures of it. I quit. I'm tired of all the leaked photo nonsense. It will be here soon enough. I'm patiently waiting.

I do need to email Ford this week and get some Bronco and Bronco II production numbers. I've found bad info online that keeps getting reposted. I need to clarify the numbers.

This automotive stuff gets so tiring. I started sharing Ranger stuff online 21 years ago as an enthusiast that loves Rangers. It was a hobby. Now there are so many people with blogs and youtube channels trying to get free stuff (for themselves) or strike it rich online. I felt weird just asking Ford to loan me a Ranger.

This brings me to something else. My biggest regret about the Ford Ranger Media Drive I went to in California in 2018.

Fred William's was there from 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine. I recognized him, even though I had never met him. For some reason I figured he'd be some arrogant guy since he's been around for so long, and I never made an effort to approach him because I'm just some guy with a website. But as the evening went on, I realized that he was just a quiet chill guy that nobody was talking to, and really kick myself in the ass for not having the nuts to go up and talk to him.

It will be nice to see a Bronco in person. I spent several days with my daughter helping her shop for a Jeep Wrangler 4-door. She finally got one. I can see why people get so infatuated with them. My daughter was talking about getting new wheels and tires before we even left the dealership.

Here's the Jeep she got:

And here's the one I was eyeballing:

Well the good news is, your daughter did NOT buy a cat. Unfortunately that means it is still a Chrysler though...
