Pete and Repete, I like it :)

Yes, if you have a defective spark plug, usually cracked electrode, it can fail when in use

It would disintegrate, and I guess that could sound like it exploded once cylinder was open, lost compression

Just a factory defect, it happens

replace it

You can use a snake cam to look inside the cylinder via spark plug hole, but any debris should be gone
Its possible it could damage a HOT valve but very very unlikely
Any debris exit by the exhaust valve or open spark plug hole as engine RPMs wind down

Hey so I didn’t think this was relevant like at all, but I’m a woman, peeps.
I’m sorry... I’ll go back and revise my wise-ass comment.

It’s not relevant... we will try to help you all the same.

I’m not worried about it my friend! It’s okay I would probably assume that too! Honestly just need some help with this cause 3 weeks ago I was posting about it overheating, and now this. I wish I had better terminology or even some pictures but I’m not a mechanic, nor am I near my truck at the moment. But I’m working on those pictures right now.

FALSE. There are no women on the internet.

Also, yes, photos of this exploding plug would help us greatly.

Also, we are COMPLETE jackasses. Don't mind our jackassery.

We can help with the terminology, we can help with the diagnostics, we can even help walk you through fixing it yourself (if you want to attempt it.)... but we need you to answer any questions to the best of your ability for us to guide you in the right direction. (And ignore the foolishness, we really are good at what we do here.)

Once you get a pic we will help identify the issue... until then, wander over to the tavern if you want to see true idiocy.
