????

Found this locally on Facebook Marketplace, I have no relation to the seller or the truck. It is absolutely hysterical.

"This is a one of a kind 13 hp predator truck. This machine is completely STREET LEGAL and has a top speed of 32 mph. It is a good 4x4 with a 5 speed and high and low range."

some hs kid in Wyoming did this with an old Dodge D50 a year or two ago... (the mitsubishi small Dodge pickup from the mid 80s)

they even had a video of him driving it. it was hilarious.

Also, not street legal in PA... no headlights

I wonder if you geared the ever loving hell out of this thing how much at the wheel torque you could get before the gearing itself was too much for the motor to spin...

The airport tugs that pull massive planes (at least back in my dads days) were mostly ford 300's but they could pull literally millions of pounds because of the huge transaxles.

I hauled in soybeans last year with a 45hp tractor. Grossed 13k lbs on my heaviest load, ran 6mph on the road lol. I wasn't lacking for power as much as ballast, one hill on gravel was almost kinda sketchy.

But at some point the size of the gears themselves would have to be bigger than the engine could even turn right?

Google up Dodge D 50 with lawnmower engine.

Dunno, the bull gears in the final drives are over a foot in diameter. Bigger tractors have planetary gearsets.
