I can tell you that I hate that piece. I used a Crown Vic engine for my V8 swap and that stupid thing screws into the lower intake. The hose barb end is 3/4" so your normal 5/8 heater hose requires an adapter, which led to numerous coolant leaks including one explosive one where my adapter split open while I was driving at highway speed.

Yeahhhhh I haven't had that issue the hose fits a lil snug but still works, use some super lube on the hose end or spit on it, it'll fit.
