Slant 6 always did have a neat ring to it...

360 Dakotas were pretty scarce.

The 318s weren't that rare. Basically same engine as the 360. I think just the "RT" Dakota got the 360 but you could get a basic dakota with the 318.

Also the slant six was a 3.7 225 ci made my dodge, the 4.0 was a regular inline six made by AMC...

Yeah my cousin had a 318 Dakota, it wasn’t much but it was past it’s prime too.
