Front end keeps blowing up!

a spanner wrench helps keep the bearing preload nut in place when trying to tighten the hell out of the outter. Also making the nub on the lock ring fit the spindle keyway tighter and deepr helps alittle.Mostly keeps the nub on the lock ring from spining and eating the threads on the spindle snout.when/if the lock pin snaps.

that is nice, my lock rings do once in awhile get in the threads and screw them up, while tightening the outer nut to 250 or so.. what did you do to enlarge the key on the ring?
