if anybody is interested there is a shop in Upper Sandusky, Ohio that applies fluid film for about $150. if you want to watch, bring your own respirator

That seems like a decent price. What's a gallon worth nowadays? I picked up a gallon at a yard sale for $10.00 but I think going rate is around $50.00 here.....just looked and it's $230.00 on Amazon.... ....

mis-read, it was 5 gallons for $230.00. 1 gallon is $47.00.

Well, now I'm confused...Amazon.ca is $237/gal and Amazon.com is $47/gal....

upper is only about 20 miles north of me. i have a qt of fluid film but not sure if i want to make all that mess. i painted as much of the frame as i could with por-15 when i had the bed off and swapped the gas tank and rear axle. now that stuff is pricey!
