interchangable panels?

I'm not sure exactly about the 93s but I have seen a couple in junkyards with the same dash and set up like the 92s. If that's the way it's set up, I don't see why it wouldn't be as easy as earlier models, just a few wiring splices. But you'll have to look it over to be sure because at some point the computers started being put in the cowl instead of the passenger foot well. I'm assuming that if it has the older style dash and the computer in the old location, the wiring should be pretty similar.

I believe the motor was the same for 2wd, but the transmission is useless for you. There is no easy way to make the 2wd transmission take a transfer case.

Of course, lol. Understood. Final question for the night, hopefully, I just did a bunch of stuff to the front; wheels bearings, ball joints, tie rods, motor mounts, pads/rotors, a little tune up. The only thing I didn't have because nobody had it and I've never used RTV was the oring for the manual locking hubs. So there's no orings because Amazon couldn't get me them until Monday and nobody has any dimensions for them so I can just buy a pack of generics. So, my question is that it's supposed to snow here this weekend (in GA of all places again, up to four inches where I live). I haven't had to drive it much while waiting for the orings due to working from home but I have to drive in to Atlanta tomorrow and I'd rather drive that than our cars due to the 4x4 obviously. Along with getting around this weekend because of any potential snow. When I took the spindles apart for repair one side didn't have an oring and all and the other was falling apart/out. I just want to check and see if I should be good for a couple days? I know I really shouldn't, but I really don't want to redo all that stuff anytime soon, lol.

Ahh, o-rings... somewhere I have the dimensions for them, I ordered myself some in an x-ring (better sealing for this type of use) awhile back. I'll have to look it up for you when I go back to my room (this being on crutches and all sucks).

You should be ok, you just don't want to be driving through deep water where you will submerge the hub because it's not water tight right now. Just pull the hub off and check the condition of the grease afterwards, you should be able to see if there's water that got in.

Makes sense... yeah, we packed a good bit in there. I don't foresee much deep and long puddle driving, despite my desire, lol. And I've managed to stay out of the mud the last week since it's been raining... pisses me off, lol.

If you could find stock dimensions on those front hub orings that would be glorious!

I have the size, just can't look up my order on my tablet because I never logged in to the app for my hardware supplier from it yet. I'm going to be due to get up and thump around a little here in a bit, I'll get it then.

Well, there you have it... lol

If I couldn't find the right o-ring, I would clean the aluminum cover very well with Brake-Kleen or alcohol. Then I would lay a bead of black rtv silicone into and above the groove about 1/8". Let it dry for at least 24 hours and then put it back on.

Yes, sorry about that. I forgot that link was for a d-35, not the d-28 in your b2.

Yea, I forgot they were different. If I could get down to my shed, I could probably come up with some correct measurements. Can't wait to get off crutches and start using my left leg again.

Didn't hurt your leg off-roading somehow did you? lol. Turns out the snow is now supposed to be up 4-6 inches this weekend. It's also supposed to be cold enough to stick so it shouldn't turn to much and puddles until at least my orings get here, and by then it'll probably all be melted and gone.

Nope, not off roading. Got clobbered on the road. Had surgery to repair my hip right before Christmas, but they said I'll be on crutches for probably at least two more weeks and off work for 3-8 months. Really sucks. They also said that I won't be allowed to drive a manual transmission for 4-8 months. Of course, I only own one auto and I didn't manage to get it fixed before surgery. All my other trucks are manual, been driving those since I was 17.

That sucks. Sorry for you! This is my first manual in a few years, one of the main reasons I jumped on it... not getting rid of it, lol
