oh yeah...i went home to my honey do list from hell....i was 20 minutes from jim but wa unable to make contact...so it will be a minute or two more.

i loaded the pictures on the sight...so i dont know why they dont work. they were private though for a bit...i will try to change that. i have a picture that should be higher resolution that the guy holding the banners kid took with his brain phone. my phone i a fossil but has the shiity pics camera i took. i will put that and a few others up if i can. see what happens.

i know how you feel, i had some moments of frustration initially, as i tried to get jim to start it at key west where i knew i could handle it due to my unique work situation. i could have run it all the way down the coast from maryland....back up the 27/75/77 down the 75 and up 27/65 and so on 4-5-6 times and covered a huge amount of ground with very little cost to me as i needed to make the runs anyway. i would bet the amount of contact would have stirred interest up quite a bit and sent it swinging...or maybe it would have failed altogether....no way to know... but at the time this was starting a decision had to be made and was made with sound logic. and it be what it be.....

hindsight is a mother sometimes.

but lima and doorgunner sure are the top guns on this...doorgunner is over 500 n count and lima is over 25 percent of that.... if that is not dedication that is noteworthy, then i dont know what the definition of dedication is...


well....i got to go pull the 42's off and get my rig ready for cruise duty.... be well. there are more pictures and i will try to get the guys that took them to post up...

Those members in Eastern Canada also have begged for the Banner each time it made a tour of the continent.

Maybe Jim could start some Forum advertising to get some dedicated members to sign up......people who wouldn't bailout!

Then the New Banner could do the "Eastern Continental Run"......

How about.....Quebec or Toronto down to Key West?

Well, the banner has finally come home. Bobby showed up at my house 10:30pm Tuesday night (12/01/2015) with the banner.

Now the task is compiling all the details of who, when, where, and how far, so we can pay tribute to all those who participated. And come up with a way to do that. A video would be cool, but I'm not video savoy.

I posted photos below of Bobby signing the banner, and him and I posing with the banner next to my Bronco II.
