iowans?

Theres alot of Jeeps that come down and toyotas but I have the only Xterra lol. Theres a fair number of Rangers and other rbvs that show up some done properly others are well... not lol. Its not one of those places where you need to have a certain vehicle to fit in its just a big group of guys that like to wheel and have fun and the nightlife around the campfire is pretty entertaining.

JUST MOVED OUT HERE FROM WEST COAST... i no thing about trails or the area, lookin for a lil 411

Hey guys, I am in Dubuque, IA.

I commute from Dubuque to Anamosa for work at Bennett Machine & Fabrication.
I just bought a 2001 Edge 4.0 4x4 Extended Cab w/ 142000 on it. Very stock with a mild torsion bar crank and some character on the body. I am still amazed at how capable this little truck is.....

Haven't really found a whole lot in the way for trails up here. There is some level B's though. Down near Anamosa headed south inbtween a BP gas station and a little town called Springville there's a gravel called Linn-Jones Road. Turn left if you are headed towards CR and right if towards Anamosa. About a country block down it turns level B:icon_cheers:. Most people around here don't have rigs big enough to tear it up so even my stock truck has fun. If you get bored there keep heading east on Linn-Jones until it ends and take a left over to HWY-1 follow that until you are about a mile from Mount Vernon, IA. That level B gets pretty sketchy due to sprayers and tractors though. Just got stuck there last week. I'm on stock size crap Dunlop's off a Tacoma though. Anyway if you like to explore there are a few level B's back behind the one over by mount vernon. They are near 240th.

Anyway anyone know of any decent trails up this way?:icon_confused:

On this side of the state you can get turned in for "mudding" on a level b (dirt/mud road)

The people that use them every day don't like kids tearing them up.

Thats about the same here, thats why i mostly go on privite land
