Escorts 2nd SAS

Ben, you can run a 2000 superduty pump, 100% bolt in, has extra pressure and flow, and a second return port, its about $60 from autozone, no mods needed...

I know i swapped my 91 f350 7.3 pump into my 96 ranger and vice versa. I also have a 3.0 pulley on it it was just a tiny bit bigger

Well, I guess I'm stopping at Advance Auto after work.

What about on say a 99 5.0?

The Super Dooty pump is identical to the Ranger pump externally. Except it uses this resi for the HB return

An F-SD (with hydroboost) should also have a touch higher flow

But has anyone actually proved this?

The issue with parts store pumps....is they don't always use correct internals. Chances are they just re label a Ranger pump and call it a SD pump because the average Joe won't notice or care.

Locking the 30 is just a thought. I plan on upgrading to tons in the future....so maybe I should just go that route. I get a lot of one back from taxes...hmmm

I'd put it towards tons.....trust me. Skip the upgraded 5 lug axle step....

That is a good point. I'll see what rockauto has.

I'll probably just go with SD axles

Talk to Brad about them.. He seems to have a lot of info on them since he is in the silly diesel scene where everyone is swapping to SD60s
