Escorts 2nd SAS

I've been toying with the idea of 4 linking the rear of the ranger. I am sure it will have much better articulation....but what I really want to do it for is to stop the god awful axle wrap. I know, I can use a traction bar but that is just no fun or challenging.

My next winter project..lol Links add up quick.....makes the current traction bar setup seem like a better choice for now.lol

If I'm going to do anything, I will do it the way I want but I am going to use square tube for the links

I was going to link both ends of the Mounty with coil overs. Then I priced it out. Coils and leaves sound just fine. The rest can be phases 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and...

Do it. I bet that the rear of my ranger gets linked before the front does (just cause thats happening when the frame breaks lol

Ugh. This build is turning out sweet. I get too many ideas for my ranger on here, but I don't have the money for it, and I need an engine.:annoyed:

Also, I'm glad to see someone is driving a 6.0 the way they are supposed to be driven.:headbang:

6.0s rock. I just like the OBS more.

Theres one 6.0 outlaw at a jy near me kid flipped it 850 horse and 1600 ft lbs of tq with dyno sheets and all recipts 8g into the tranny. They want 10g for the whole truck.

I wanna drop my 91 f350 body on it bad.....

6.0s can be turned nasty quick. gotta watch the EGTs though. But take them out, and open them up and the EGRC will remain unplugged.

2000 super duty box. Is it the same part? I have read a lot of fords have the same box. Or is it heavier duty?

Ranger, bronco2, fs bronco, f150, f250, & f350 up to 96 all used the same steering gearbox. After that they were different...

My 99 F350 has two different box options for it. I don't recall the pitman arm spline count but mine uses the smaller one of the two. Darn Ford and their mid year changes.

Went out to Badlands off road park today with my son. It was his first time driving offroad.

All went good, didn't do any crazy stuff since we were basically the only ones there in the whole park. The last 30 min or so of the day I blew out the seal in the steering box. This is the third time in this truck. I think it is time to put in a hydro assist.
