Escorts 2nd SAS

sseeing the a/c to oba mod makes me want to do it, seeing as though I don't use my a/c. the issue is, I cut the line that goes from the can thingy on the passenger side of the truck to the valve thingy on the drivers side by the radiatior, would I need a new one of those or no?

You lost me. What do you need to replace?

All you really need to make it work is the compressor itself. Everything else can be removed.

I used the line that runs from the compressor across the motor to the passenger side and then plumbed that into the air filter box.

Received some bad news today. The doctors said there isn't much else they can do. The cancer is progressing and the chemo just makes it worse for my wife Julie.

Julie was diagnosed with cancer in June 2013. She had surgery to remove the tumor but found the source of the cancer was not what they thought, it started as appendix cancer. A rare cancer that only 50 or so cases each year.
First chemo treatment didn't work, so she had a more stronger chemo that made her very sick. Couldn't eat without throwing up. Lost so much weight, and just was very tired. The second chemo didn't work at all and the cancer had spread throughout her body with most of it in her bones. With tumors in and on the bones it make her have extreme pain to walk, sit or lay down.
Beginning of May 2014 she started an experimental chemo that is in pill form. This chemo was more for other types of cancer than what she had. This made her sick, sicker than ever before and I made her stop taking them. Today is when the doctor says there isn't much else they can do but make her comfortable and not feel any pain.

Please keep Julie and I in your thoughts and prayers.

Sucks so bad that I couldn't make it to the ranger meet that day to see her and you. Not a day passes I don't think about it either.

I can't imagine what either of you are going through right now.

You're living my worst nightmare. You both are in my prayers every day.

You're living my worst nightmare. You both are in my prayers every day.

Thank you.

It is rough and I don't wish this on anyone. Cancer is not fun for either of us.
It has taught me that there is more to life than material possessions and to enjoy every minute of your life; live every day as it's your last.

I wish there were words I could write here to not give you comfort, but your wife. I am so sorry. I suppose if it was that easy we wouldn't need doctors. I hope that you can have as many special days with your wife as you can.

I will say a few prayers to Father Emil Kapaun to intercede for Julie to aid in her comfort.

I am so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Wife. I wish there were a cure for this horrible sickness. I have a very strong family history of colon cancer, and I am having some issues right now that have prompted the Doctor to send me back in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I am scared to death because my cousin that is 4 years younger just had colon cancer removed about 5 months ago (in the hospital while his Wife had a baby to boot). My grandfather died from cancer, and he too became very ill from chemo.

During my time dwelling on this.... and believe me I have to snap myself out of it sometimes.... I came across this article about cancer and it's inability to survive in unsatisfactory ph levels. Some people claim to have beat cancer by going on an alkaline diet. May be worth reading for you.

I just would like to say hello to Escort and everyone else in this thread. I just spent the past 3 days reading all 222 pages of this thread. I learned many many things about my truck and some other things while reading through these posts. I have also been inspired in many ways from everyone's conversations.

Before I got to the last page of the posts I had planned on posting pictures of my truck and some ideas I have for my SAS for it, but I changed my mind and decided at this point it would be selfish of me to post pictures of my vehicle, so I am keeping it simple.

Escort I wish you the very best in your battles. I am 28 years old and have been married to my wife now for almost two years and I love her very much. I can not imagine what you are going through. I hope you find your way and cherish every moment of every minute with your family and loved ones.

Best wishes,
Kenny

Thank you. It has been a rough 12 months. It has strengthened our marriage and strengthened my faith in the Lord.

But this morning my wife Julie began her new life in heaven. She is no longer suffering or in pain. The cancer might have taken her life but her soul will live on forever in heaven. I didn't tell her goodbye, but I will see you later.

shit man.....very sorry to hear escort. Prayers your way brother.

Love this ^ Way to be positive my friend.

You are in my thoughts.

I am in Houston right now for work so I am not very local. So I had a beer for you last night bud. A nice, high end, dark one.
