Who agrees?

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and can kill. Often the deaths are due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form without protective gear can cause severe tissue damage. Symptoms of ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance.
For those who have become dependent on DHMO, withdrawal means certain death. DHMO also is responsible for accelerated rust and corrosion issues when in contact with metal objects. It is also responsible for billions of dollars in property damage each year.

The contamination is has reached every corner of the globe as it has even been found in the Arctic regions. The reason for this far reaching contamination is largely due to the fact that all major companies (and many minor ones) are using DHMO on a regular basis since it works well as an industrial solvent, coolant, fire retardant, for dispensing pesticides (once it is on food products, it is impossible to wash off), and more. Companies often dump the waste into local streams and lakes since the EPA has not regulated disposal of it yet.

Doesn't sound like a very good thing to me...

i remember hearing about this a few years back. will be interesting to see where this goes :c-n:

I take a big jug of it to work with me every day. I tell people it's vodka so I don't get in trouble.

Yes... I was digging through old posts of mine looking to see if my roommate thread was still out there and came across where I had posted about this sort of danger before.

Yeah, I started gargling with it a few years back and can't kick the habit now...I now gargle about ten times a day and usually in public when I'm talking to someone important...I even gargle in my sleep with it...I know this because I wake up and my underwear are rusty...

Haha how funny. Problem is so many people don't have enough common sense to slow down when reading the word to realize what it really is.

How bad would it be if some idiot actually got laws passed to ban it though LOL.

Hush, everyone else was nice enough to wait and see if we had anyone gullible here...

I have seen petitions to get it banned from people who don't have a clue.

LOL, feel free to delete my thread if one of the MODS doesn't mind. However you could see where this would catch many people and they wouldn't have a clue what you are talking about anyhow did you want me to just type out the real word for that LOL.

This doesn't surprise me given the lack of common sense and intelligence shown by many people that come into the cafe/restaurant where I work.

Only mods and admin can delete posts aside from the person who actually put up the post (thus I can delete my own post but not yours). I just didn't want you giving it away, lol.

Yep, this is pretty dangerous stuff. It is the main component in acid rain, and given enough time it will dissolve a battleship.

We need to outlaw this stuff now!

AJ

Well then we just shouldn't get this stuff anywhere near our battleships. We need to write Congress NOW!!1!11!!

Well this is about as good as any place to admit this. Im addicted to it. I also bought a huge bottle of it today.
