Non members can wheel there anytime as long as they are with a member. As a member I can wheel anytime that I want. Labor Day is a good turnout for trucks and people. Not as big as a public club but decent. I'll be camping out for the whole weekend. Bring your wife if she is available. Most other guys bring theirs my gf will be there with me. We have a nice mix of trails from stuff that I run my stock Ranger on to stuff that I struggle with in the Bronco. Nice trails, Hills, Rocks, Mud, Lots of tight trails body damage is likely if you ride the harder stuff.

I think my wife and I might be in. Roll out Saturday morning, wheel all day Saturday, visit her friend on Sunday and head home.
Her best friend lives downtown in the Burgh which is probably where we would go late Saturday night. She would probably go out with the girls afterwards and I would probably go to bed lol. City girls.. I cant keep up with them at night.

I lived downtown for 2 years in college. Good luck navigating down there with a CCLB Dually plus a trailer. There were places where my SCSB Ranger was too big and my F250 was just ignorant.

What part of the city does she live in?

Kyle works every other Sat, so he needs a little heads up to align his schedule, but other than that we are down for any other weekend.

Lunch was a little slow today. So I drew up a flat bed in solidworks. Just killing time. I designed it using material I already have at home (excluding the plate). I wanted to see what it would weigh using those materials. As seen with the big plates, it would weigh 345 lbs. More than I would want and it doesnt even have rails or fenders yet lol. Anyone know what a stock short bed weighs?

I do not plan on making this since I plan on starting with a 4 seater rig in the future.

The front is the width of the cab. The bottom tube section goes up to the rear window. The top section was a guess lol. The length is the same as my bobbed bed, to the back face of the gate.

The tube is 1.75 x 0.125
The square tube is 2x2x1/8"
The channel is 4x5.4
The plate is all 1/8". I could go thinner on the header panel. I am going to make the bed wood as well and see what kind of weight I get.

That is a thought. I have like 200 ft of that channel. I am anxious to do something with it. The issue is that it is so heavy

Try removing the C channel that would run parallel to the frame rails and run 2 pieces perpendicular as cross members spacing like 2ft on center.

But then my bed would be wavy since the frame rails are not straight. Or am I not understanding your correctly.

I need the parallels so I can "shim" the bed.

Ya. I was thinking of shimming each crossmember to bolt to the frame. With the frame running the length of the bed, there would be no need for additional parallel c channel.
